Orlando City star Luis Nani shared a video on his YouTube channel documenting how he’s staying active at home as he enters his fifth week of self quarantine during the MLS training moratorium.
The video began with the star winger revealing that he has a hidden talent — beat boxing.
Without regular training sessions, Nani is staying sharp on the ball by playing keep-up and Teqball in his backyard and practice trick shots. He’s also been keeping active with his wife, Daniela, and their son, Lucas, doing boxing and aerobic workouts on their back patio.
Like any other parent, Nani also is spending more time with his son, helping him with homework assignments and enjoying the unexpected time together.
In the video, Nani thanked health care professionals in his home country of Portugal for their work battling the spread of coronavirus. The Orlando City captain ended the video with a message to Lions supporters.
“We want to come back very soon,” Nani said. “We know we’re gonna get through this and we are positive about all this situation. It’s difficult but we know all together we can do it and we can’t wait to see you back on the field, back in our stadium. We miss our games and we miss you guys.”
