Sporting Kansas City scored a pair of second-half goals for a 2-0 win on the road against the L.A. Galaxy at StubHub center in Carson, Calif., Sunday night.
Hungarian forward Dániel Sallói and Scottish teammate Johnny Russell scored for SKC in the 56th and 61st minutes, respectively. The Galaxy subbed on superstar Zlatan Ibrahimović a minute after Sporting’s second goal, but he did not find the back of the net like in his soaring debut against LAFC.
