Rumi Utsugi took a quick touch after receiving a backpass, slid the ball to her left foot and then unleashed an unexpected shot from about 25 yards out. The 75th-minute strike bounced through teammates and defenders inside the penalty box and slid inside the right post to hand the Seattle Reign a 3-2 road victory over the Portland Thorns.
