Los Angeles FC’s home match against the Houston Dynamo scheduled for Oct. 18 has been moved to Oct. 12, the club announced Friday. Kickoff at Banc of California Stadium will remain 10 p.m. ET.

Last week, LAFC became the first Major League Soccer expansion team in 20 years to win six road games with a 4-2 victory over Toronto FC.

LAFC surpassed the 2009 Seattle Sounders and 2015 Orlando City SC, the only two teams to win five road matches in their inaugural campaigns since MLS first introduced draws in 2000 — previously, the league settled tied scores with shootouts.

The Dynamo are on a five-game winless streak and last week lost 4-2 to in-state rival FC Dallas.

LAFC (13-7-7, 46 points) is second in the Western Conference, while Houston (7-13-7, 28 points) sits in 10th.

Both sides are on a break this week and then have four MLS matches before they meet in October. Houston also will host the Philadelphia Union in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final Sept. 26.

Houston beat LAFC in penalties during an earlier round of the U.S. Open Cup. The Western Conference sides also played to a 2-2 league draw July 3.
