Major League Soccer’s next generation of players is set to make a week-long stop in Orlando again this winter.

The 2019 Adidas MLS Player Combine will run from Jan. 3-9 at Orlando City Stadium, the league announced Monday along with details about the Superdraft and MLS Caribbean Combine.

Each year, the MLS Player Combine draws dozens of players – mainly collegiate standouts, but also some youth national team competitors – for a talent and skills showcase. Those participating in the combine are divided into four teams that play one another in a round-robin.

Coaches, technical directors and general managers from each MLS team will visit Orlando to evaluate dozens of potential prospects ahead of the MLS Superdraft, which will be held Jan. 11 in Chicago.

Supporters can also attend combine matches, which are typically free and open to the public.

The 2019 MLS Player Combine is the second marquee event the league is hosting in Orlando next year. The city will also host the 2019 MLS All-Star Game, though the exact date has yet to be determined.

On Monday, MLS also announced details for the Caribbean Combine. The Caribbean Combine is a partnership between the league and CONCACAF that showcases the best talent, under age 24, from the region.

This year’s Caribbean Combine will feature 40 players from 20 countries and take place in Kingston, Jamaica, and Bridgetown, Barbados, from Oct. 15-18 and Oct. 22-25, respectively.

Caribbean Combine participants will also be eligible for selection in the Superdraft.

FC Cincinnati, which enters the league in 2019, holds the first pick in the draft. The full draft order will be determined at the end of the MLS playoffs. Non-playoff teams, such as Orlando City SC, will know what pick they have in the first round at the end of the regular season.
