Jefferson Savarino scored Real Salt Lake’s go-ahead goal Thursday night in the 69th minute of a knockout round playoff match, sending his team to the Western Conference semifinals and ending Los Angeles FC’s inaugural Major League Soccer season.
The goal came off a Damir Kreilach assist and gave LAFC a 3-2 lead. Kreilach also scored RSL’s first two goals in the 21st and 58th minutes.
Between those goals, LAFC scored twice. Danilo Silva and Christian Ramirez each netted the ball, and the teams were tied 2-2 before Savarino’s decisive goal. See a replay of the game-winner above and the rest of the goals during the match below.
