Orlando City B signs 15-year-old development academy product Luc Granitur

Another young Orlando City development academy player is getting his shot to be a professional soccer player.

Forward Luc Granitur, 15, on Friday was announced as Orlando City B’s second signing. The youngster is the top goal scorer (four goals in six matches) for Orlando City’s U-19 team.

Granitur is the second player announced by OCB this week. On Wednesday, the USL League One (formerly USL D3) side announced it signed 17-year-old midfielder Jordan Bender.

Granitur is a Montverde Academy student — he enrolled in the residential program in August, according to OCB General Manager Mike Potempa. He is originally originally from Vero Beach and was recently called up to the United States’ Under-16 Boys National Team.
