MLS extends training moratorium through April 24
The league pushed back its training restriction for another week, but the MLS season is still scheduled to resume on May 10.
MLS does not plan to furlough or layoff staff at this time, although a hiring freeze is in place
A team spokesperson said the player would like to keep his identity private.
The Sounders are trying to strike an extremely delicate balance between maintaining players’ fitness as best as possible and adhering to health guidelines.
