The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee found Vancouver Whitecaps forward Anthony Blondell and Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful guilty of simulation/embellishment in their respective matches last week.
Both players were issued undisclosed fines, according to a statement released Friday by the league.
Blondell’s incident occurred in the 83rd minute of the the Whitecaps’ 2-0 victory at home April 27 against Real Salt Lake.
Afful’s happened in the 83rd minute of Crew SC’s 2-1 win against visiting San Jose the following night.
Both players also scored for their teams in those matches. Watch replays of the infractions below.
