Highlights: Philadelphia Union beat Montreal Impact 2-0

The Montreal Impact (3-8-0, 9 points) lost at home Saturday afternoon 2-0 against the Philadelphia Union (3-5-2, 11 points).

Cory Burke and Haris Medunjanin scored for Philadelphia in the 43rd and 88th minutes, respectively.

The Union won without stars CJ Sapong (left hip/quad injury) and David Accam (coach’s decision) in their starting XI.

The official handed out two red cards in the game — first to Burke for a challenge on Montreal’s Samuel Piette in the 58th minute and then nine minutes later to the Impact’s Daniel Lovitz for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
