New England Revolution striker Teal Bunbury reached a milestone in his side’s 3-2 victory over D.C. United Saturday night at Gillette Stadium.
The nine-season Major League Soccer veteran scored his 10th goal of the year on the stroke of halftime. The goal marks a personal record for Bunbury, who never before scored more than nine times in a single season.
Bunbury is currently the Revolution’s leading scorer. He has the fifth-most goals in the league this season and has the third best shot-to-goal conversion ratio of any MLS player with at least eight goals.
