Zlatan Ibrahimovic promised fireworks when he first signed with LA Galaxy.
So far, he has delivered.
Ibrahimovic was at it again on the Fourth of July, scoring off an impressive volley during the fifth minute of the Galaxy’s home match against D.C. United Wednesday.
The goal gave Los Angeles an early 1-0 lead. Ibrahimovic is tied for sixth in MLS with nine goals in 12 matches.
It is D.C. United’s final match before Wayne Rooney is cleared to join the squad.
