The LA Galaxy once again came back to shock Los Angeles FC, scoring twice in the final minutes of Thursday night’s match for a 2-2 draw. Romain Alessandrini and Ola Kamara scored in the 82nd and 86th minutes, respectively, to bring the Galaxy back from the dead.

For LAFC, Carlos Vela scored in the seventh minute and Lee Nguyen scored in minute 20 to give expansion side Los Angeles FC a 2-0 lead over cross-town rival LA Galaxy.

Vela, centered in front of goal, got his head on a cross from Adama Diomande and slotted the ball into the left side of the net for an early lead. Nguyen scored off a free kick, taken from just outside the left corner of the penalty box and curled over the wall of players. The ball slid inside the near post before Galaxy keeper David Bingham could get to it.
