Dom Dwyer struck early for Orlando City, scoring in the ninth minute to give the Lions a 1-0 lead over Philadelphia Union. Yoshimar Yotun assisted Dwyer’s goal, delivering a set piece straight to the center of the box for Dwyer to flick into the top right corner of the net.
The lead was welcome for a team last in the Eastern Conference and 1-14-1 in its last 16 MLS matches, but it didn’t last long. The Union evened the score in the 32nd minute, when Corey Burke also scored off a header. He knocked in a cross from teammate Borek Dockal.
The match was in the 41st minute at the time this story was published, and the score remained tied 1-1. Watch a replay of Dwyer’s goal above and Burke’s below. Follow live scores for all MLS matches here. You can also see match stats here.
