Eric Remedi picked a good time to score his first career goal, netting the ball Sunday in the 37th minute of an Eastern Conference semifinal to give Atlanta a 1-0 victory over New York City FC.
Remedi rushed toward the goal to tap in a rebound after NYCFC goalkeeper Sean Johnson dove to stop a shot. Watch a replay of Remedi’s goal in the video above. NYCFC hosted the first-leg match at Yankee Stadium, giving Atlanta an advantage when the Five Stripes host NYCFC for the second leg Nov. 11.
