The New England Revolution rang in the new year in style with a midnight reveal of its 2019/20 secondary kit.
New England’s new jersey — which will be used predominantly in away matches — features a white, silver-grey, and navy blue color scheme and appears to abandon the heavy red tones that had been used since 2015.
Peter O’Toole, an artist who has worked for the New Yorker, Nike, and Adidas, designed the illustration for the Revolution’s new kit.
With this New Year’s Day reveal, the Revolution became the first MLS team to show off a new kit in 2019.
Revs fans reacted to their team’s new colors on Twitter:
2019 already off to a roaring start! #NERevs

Nice practice jersey. Did we lose some kind of bet with Adidas?
