NEW YORK — Bobby Warshaw, a former MLS midfielder who writes and talks the game for MLSSoccer.com, joins Pro Soccer USA’s Glenn Crooks to analyze New York City FC and the U.S. men’s national team under Gregg Berhalter. Also, Pro Soccer USA’s Oliver Platt will help preview Friday night’s match between Eastern Conference rivals Toronto FC and New York City FC.
Toronto is expecting to unveil its new Designated Player, Alejandro Pozuelo, who is joining the club from Genk in Belgium with high expectations.
“There’s a lot of similarities between him and Victor Vazquez, who obviously was a tremendous success in Toronto,” Platt says. “For my money, he was one of the best players TFC have ever had – Giovinco included.”
