Wayne Rooney stunned teammates and opponents with a free kick taken just a few feet in front of the corner flag Sunday night. The ball whizzed toward goal over the heads of all in its path and curved into the far post for a 30th-minute goal that gave D.C. United a 2-0 lead over Orlando City.
