The Philadelphia Union will spend the September international break playing a friendly against Liga MX side Pumas UNAM.
The Union will take on the Mexican side on Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Talen Energy Stadium in their yearly friendly against an international club that typically happens in the summer.
This will be Pumas’ second trip to Chester, Pennsylvania. They previously faced the Union in a friendly back in 2013.
In prior seasons, the Union have played Eintracht Frankfurt, Crystal Palace and Swansea City at home.
The match with Pumas comes during a three-game home stretch in league play. Jim Curtin’s side faces Atlanta United on Aug. 31, and then Los Angeles FC in a possible clash of conference leaders in 2014 on Sept. 14.
