NEW YORK — New York City FC will try to rebound from Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Atlanta United when the team visits last-place FC Cincinnati this Saturday at Nippert Stadium.
D.J. Switzer, who covers FCC for Pro Soccer USA, joins Glenn Crooks for a preview of the match.
New York City FC had a need for depth at right back, and a trade with Minnesota United brought Eric Miller to the Bronx. Glenn has a one-on-one interview with the newest member of NYCFC.
On the possibility of his versatility hindering his ability to get a full-time starting position, Miller said, “I certainly think there is a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none aspect of that. The other side of the coin is, if I couldn’t play left back or centerback, I probably wouldn’t have played in half the games I’ve played in MLS.”
